Our facilitators, Brent
D. Ruben and Sherrie Tromp, Center for Organizational Development
and Leadership, Rutgers University, will explore
the following topics with us during the retreat:
1. Identify 4-5 broad, overarching goals
to guide the Guild in the next 3-5 years
that are aligned with UMDNJ mission
2. Determine several key strategies for moving
each goal forward
3. Assign roles for participants related
to moving the strategies forward, including
timelines and outcomes measures for each
4. Review of mission statement; revision
or affirmation of current mission
5. Shared sense of vision for the Guild
6. Recognition of benefits reaped by individual,
national, MEG by pursuing these goals
7. Identify ways to enhance internal and
external communication.

members of the Guild lead the annual University
Commencement processional and march together
in full academic regalia, wearing their Guild
medallions.
